I have been fortunate enough to travel quite extensively and I also (for part of my childhood) grew up in Europe. These experiences shaped my appreciation for art and culture. During these travels I have taken many photographs and almost every painting I have painted has a very personal inspiration.
The paintings usually reflect certain special memories and emotions. I try to draw the viewer to have a certain feeling rather than tell a story via the painting, or have the viewer see the world as I see it. Full of light and color no matter the scenery or weather. I believe that the neutral attributes of my art make the paintings appealing to almost any social, ethnic and age group.
I work predominantly in the medium of oil painting, but I also love charcoal drawing and graphic/web design. I completed my BFA in Painting with a Minor in Art History at Colorado State University. Later, I went on to get my Certificate of Graphic Design from Arapahoe Community College.
